Project Details

• DEWA aims to conduct Bimonthly and quarterly ecological assessments (phytoplankton/zooplankton and macro benthos respectively) at 500m and 2000 away from the discharge points of D-Station, K-Station & L-Station at Jebel Ali, as per the requirements of the wastewater discharge permit issued by Dubai Municipality.
• Ecological assessment is being done for following parameters:
✓ In-situ Water QualityAnalysis
✓ Phytoplankton (Water quality)
✓ Zooplankton (Water quality)
✓ Marco-benthos (sediment quality)
• Collected samples are processed, analyzed and identified up to Species Level where possible
• Consolidated Report of the findings and recommendations
