Project Details

• Scope of the project was to conduct the environmental monitoring through samples collection followed by analysis for marine parameters in and around the Layyah Power Station, owned by Sharjah Electricity and WaterAuthority in Sharjah, UAE.
• Tridel experts completed the monitoring program by performing:
✓ Water QualityAnalysis (Both In-situ and Ex-Situ)
✓ Sediment QualityAnalysis
✓ Underwater photography and videography to understand the benthic fauna and flora
✓ Identification (Phytoplankton, Zooplankton, Benthos) of the processed and analyzed samples
• Tridel’s scientists processed and analyzed the sediments samples and reported the observed/recorded results on benthic fauna, incident flora and their approximate, numerical abundance as well as taxonomy and diversity details.
